L&T in talk to supply nuclear equipments; stock up

MUMBAI: Larsen & Toubro is in talks to supply nuclear equipment to Electricite de France (EDF) the world’s largest nuclear power operator. L&T is the only Indian company that has retained international certification by the American Society of Mechanical Engineers, which enables it to supply nuclear equipments.

The stock was at Rs 1617.55, up 0.73 per cent on the NSE. It touched a high of Rs 1626.50 and low of Rs 1600.35 in trade so far.
