L&T Finance Holdings scrip to be included in BSE-500 Index

MUMBAI: The BSE India has decided to include L&T Finance Holdings scrip in the BSE-500 Index and exclude Nagarjuna Fertilisers and Chemicals from it with effect from August 29.

The exchange will also drop Nagarjuna Fertilisers' scrip from BSE Small-Cap Index effective from August 29, a BSE release said here today.

Nagarjuna Fertilisers is going in to "no dealing" mode on account of demerger, including transfer and vesting of oil business undertaking into Nagarjuna Oil Refinery Ltd and merging of residual business into Kakinada Fertilisers Ltd. At present, the Hyderabad-based firm is a constituent of BSE-500 and BSE Small-Cap, which necessitates replacement in these indices, the release said.

The BSE has also decided to exclude Raj Oil Mills Ltd from BSE-IPO index from September 12, it added.
