L&T bags Rs 2,000 cr contract from Bombay Dyeing

Larsen & Toubro has bagged an order valued at Rs 2,000 crore from Bombay Dyeing for developments at the textile mills and spring mills at Worli and Wadala respectively.

MUMBAI: Larsen & Toubro has bagged an order valued at Rs 2,000 crore from Bombay Dyeing for developments at the textile mills and spring mills at Worli and Wadala respectively. The project will be completed in 46 months by the end of December 2011.

The turnkey construction project involves construction of mixed-use developments on 4 million square feet for the textile mills at Worli and 5 million square feet for the Spring mills development at Wadala

At 10:47 am, L&T shares were down 0.54 per cent at Rs 2759 and Bombay Dyeing shares were up 1.70 per cent at Rs 616.90 on BSE.
