NMDC, HPCL, REC, Greaves Cotton and Banco Products among others have been consistent in paying out dividends while maintaining their equity capital base. Though some of them have underperformed the benchmark, the dividend has ensured healthy investor participation in them.

Analysts said companies which have given regular dividends for over five consecutive years can be considered for investing. ET has compiled a list of 15 such stocks which have distributed consecutive dividend for the last five consecutive years.
