Foreign fund house Lotus Global Investments today sold eight lakh shares of Karur Vysya Bank for Rs 34 crore.

Mumbai: Foreign fund house Lotus Global Investments today sold eight lakh shares of Karur Vysya Bank for Rs 34 crore.

Lotus Global Investments, which held 33.49 lakh shares or 3.13 per cent stake at the end of March quarter, offloaded eight lakh shares of the Chennai-based bank, according to the information available with stock exchanges.

Shares were sold at an average price of Rs 426.01 taking the deal size to Rs 34 crore.

Meanwhile, Franklin India Flexi Cap Fund bought 5.97 lakh shares of Karur Vysya Bank for Rs 25.44 crore.

On the BSE, shares of Karur Vysya Bank slipped by 0.61 per cent to settle at Rs 430.55 apiece.
