Llyod Steel shares up on stake sale report

Shares of Llyod Steel rose nearly 6 percent in early trades after the Business Standard newspaper reported promoters of Uttam Galva Steels are close to acquiring the company, three dealers said.

At 9.35 a.m., shares of the Llyod Steel were up 3.86 percent at 21.55 rupees, while Uttam Galva was up 2.55 percent at 122.45 rupees.
