LIC Housing Finance Ltd. shares decline 2.65% as Sensex slides

Shares of the LIC Housing Finance Ltd. traded at Rs 266.25 on BSE at 01:17PM (IST) on Thursday, down 2.65 per cent from previous close.

The scrip quoted a 52-week low price of Rs 186.0 and a high of Rs 521.3.

Earlier, shares of the company saw a gap up opening in the morning.


A total of 109,042 lakh shares changed hands on the counter till 01:17PM (IST).

The stock of LIC Housing Finance Ltd. commands a market value of Rs 13446.75 crore.

The stock traded at a price-to-earning (P/E) multiple of 5.59, while the price-to-book value ratio stood at 0.74. Return on equity (ROE) was at 13.16 per cent, according to exchange data.

In the BSE500 pack, 223 stocks traded in the green, while 277 stocks were in the red.

Promoters held 40.31 per cent in the LIC Housing Finance Ltd. as of 30-Jun-2020 while foreign and domestic institutional investors owned 34.27 per cent and 4.74 per cent, respectively.
