LIC declares Rs 1,831 crore FY23 dividend

Mumbai: State-owned Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC) has announced a dividend of ₹1,831 crore to the government for fiscal year 2022-2023.
LIC paid out the dividend following the annual general meeting, which took place on August 22, 2023 and after receiving approval during the AGM. In FY23, LIC had reported a 10.90% increase in total premium income to ₹4,74,005 crore.
