Lasa Supergenerics lists at Rs 140.20 on NSE; Omkar Speciality drops 5%

NEW DELHI: Shares of Lasa Supergenerics got listed at Rs 140.20 on NSE.

The stock of the demerger entity of Omkar Speciality later climbed 5 per cent to hit a high of Rs 147.20 on the stock exchange. Shares of Omkar Speciality Chemicals , on the other hand, dropped 4.5 per cent to Rs 81.65, eventually closing at Rs 82.45, down 3.57 per cent.

Every shareholder holding a single share of Omkar Speciality Chemicals has got one share of LASA Laboratories after the demerger. The record date was set at July 13

Omkar Speciality Chemicals, which has carried some investments in LASA Laboratories in the past, holds around 10 per cent of the equity of LASA Laboratories post the demerger.

Omkar Speciality Chemicals is primarily engaged in the manufacture and sale of specialty chemicals and intermediates for chemical and allied industries.
