Lanco Infratech plunges 6% on widening of losses in Q1
NEW DELHI: Shares of Lanco Infratech (LITL) plunged nearly 6 per cent in Monday’s trade after the company said its consolidated net loss widened to Rs 448.88 crore in June quarter.

The company had reported a consolidated net loss of Rs 316.52 crore for the same quarter last year. The stock tumbled 5.81 per cent to hit a low of Rs 4.54 on BSE.

The company said its total income from operations jumped 18.44 per cent YoY during the quarter to Rs 1,940.35 crore from Rs 1,638.14 crore in the year-ago period. The company deals in five sectors, such as power, solar, infrastructure, natural resources and property development.

At present, the power portfolio has an installed capacity of 3,465 mw while some 5,956 mw is under various stages of construction and development.
