NEW DELHI: Shares of Kwality Dairy surged over 5 per cent in Tuesday trade after the government allocated Rs 850 crore for four dairying projects in the Budget. The projects are namely, ‘Pashudhan Sanjivani’, ‘Nakul Swasthya Patra’, ‘E-Pashudhan Haat’ and National Genomic Centre for indigenous breeds.

Reacting to the development, the scrip rose 6.03 per cent to hit a high of Rs 95.70 on the BSE. The stock has slumped 36 per cent in the year so far with 19 per cent of the drop coming in the month of February.
