Koutons hits high of Rs 649 after listing, premium of 56%

MUMBAI: Koutons Retail India on Friday listed at Rs 510 on the National Stock Exchange, premium of 23 per cent to issue price of Rs 415 per share.
At 9:56 am, the stock was up 46.50 per cent at Rs 608 with volume traded 1.5 lakh shares. It touched a high of Rs 620 and low of Rs 502.50.
On the Bombay Stock Exchange, the scrip opened at Rs 515. At 9:57 am, it was at Rs 610, up 47 per cent to the issue price. It touched a high of Rs 649.
Koutons Retail is an integrated apparel manufacturer and retailer with a network of 999 exclusive brand outlets across India.
The company raised Rs 146.25 crore from its IPO of 35,24,439 shares, which was subscribed 45.52 times.
The company raised the funds for setting up 140 exclusive outlets for ‘Koutons’ and ‘Charlie Outlaw’ brands, and for a new integrated manufacturing facility at Gurgaon, Haryana.
