Kotak Mahindra Bank’s net advances climb 25% YoY to Rs 5.77 lakh crore; deposits grow 23% in Q2
Kotak Mahindra Bank’s net advances rose 24.7% year-on-year to Rs 5,77,094 crore by September 30, 2026, while total deposits increased 23.2% to Rs 6,51,491 crore. CASA deposits grew 11.3%, according to provisional data disclosed by the lender.

Kotak Mahindra Bank reported strong September quarter growth, with net advances and deposits rising over 23% year-on-year, while CASA deposits increased 11.3%.
Average net advances stood at Rs 5,46,963 crore, up 22.1% year-on-year and 10.5% sequentially.
The bank’s total deposits increased 23.2% year-on-year to Rs 6,51,491 crore as of September 30, 2026, from Rs 5,28,776 crore a year earlier. Deposits were up 13.7% from Rs 5,72,820 crore at the end of June.
Average total deposits stood at Rs 6,06,234 crore, rising 18.8% year-on-year and 8.5% quarter-on-quarter.
CASA deposits, or current account and savings account deposits, stood at Rs 2,49,105 crore at the end of September, up 11.3% from Rs 2,23,791 crore a year earlier and 7.8% from Rs 2,31,017 crore at the end of June.

Average CASA stood at Rs 2,26,469 crore, increasing 14.2% year-on-year and 4.4% sequentially.
The end-of-period balances as of September 30 include FCNR(B) deposits of $5.78 billion, equivalent to around Rs 55,344 crore, pursuant to the Reserve Bank of India’s swap facility for FCNR(B) deposits. The amount has been converted at the prevailing exchange rate as of September 30, 2026, according to the exchange filing.
Advances of $1.68 billion, or around Rs 16,110 crore, against these FCNR(B) deposits by the bank’s international branches are also included in the end-of-period balances.
Shares of Kotak Mahindra Bank ended Monday’s trading session 0.56% lower at Rs 416 apiece on the NSE, compared with the previous close of Rs 418.35. The stock traded in the range of Rs 413.75 to Rs 424.45 during the session.
The lender’s shares have declined 6.21% year-to-date, according to NSE data.
The bank said the information as of September 30, 2026, is provisional and subject to limited review by its statutory auditors.
