Kingfisher Airlines zooms 7%

MUMBAI: Vijay Mallya-led Kingfisher Airlines was up by around 7 per cent at Rs 28.85 on Wednesday.

The Economic Times had today reported that the airline is expected to get nod to operate international flights. It has received approval to operate on nine international routes--Mumbai-London, Kolkata-Dhaka, Kolkata-Chittagong, Mumbai-Hong Kong, Mumbai-Singapore, Chennai-Colombo, Bangalore-Colombo, Bangalore-Bangkok and Mumbai-Bangkok.

The launch of these services will be announced progressively. Kingfisher operates only one daily flight between Bangalore and London.
