Khaitan, Somi Conveyor among top losers on BSE

NEW DELHI: The domestic equity benchmark BSE Sensex was trading 18.38 points down at 40,249.24 on account of selling in frontline bluechip counters.

Shares of Somi Conveyor (down 14.89 per cent) , White Organic Agro (down 14.18 per cent) , Khaitan (India) (down 11.97 per cent) , Akme Star Housing Finance (down 11.36 per cent) , Raj Packaging (down 11.35 per cent) , Wallfort Financial Services (down 9.60 per cent), Accel Transmatic (down 9.04 per cent) , Visa Steel (down 8.82 per cent), Swastika Investmart (down 8.78 per cent) and TGB Banquets (down 8.49 per cent) were among the worst performers.

In the Nifty pack, 29 stocks were trading in the green, while 21 stocks were trading in the red.


The Nifty index was trading 9.75 points down at 12,078.80.
