Kennametal India reports 8.3% growth in June quarter revenue
Kennametal India saw an 8.3% rise in revenues, reaching Rs 302.4 crore for the June quarter, driven by the hard metal and machining solutions groups. Profit before tax climbed 48.7%.

The growth in revenues, the company said in a press release, was driven by volume growth by the hard metal segment and a strong performance by the machining solutions group. The profit before tax (PBT) was ₹ 40 crore, up 48.7% over the corresponding period, last year.
Kennametal India MD Vijaykrishnan Venkatesan said, “Our financial performance was largely driven by domestic market growth and operational excellence leading to higher profitability. We saw robust orders by the Machining Solutions Group, delivering growth of over 20.5% for the quarter. We continued to execute our strategic imperatives, which drove profitable growth and maintained our focus on long-term value creation for our stakeholders.”
