KEC International bags two contracts valued at Rs 400 crore

KEC International has bagged two contracts in Saudi Arabia and Namibia worth Rs 260 crore and Rs 140 crore respectively.

MUMBAI: KEC International has bagged two contracts in Saudi Arabia and Namibia worth Rs 260 crore and Rs 140 crore respectively.

In Saudi Arabia, the contract, to be completed in 22 months, is for the Saudi Arabian mining company, MA'ADEN. It is a turnkey job of 380 KV double circuit transmission lines of 123 km connecting Saudi Arabia electricity company's substation to MA'ADEN power plant site at Ras Az Zawr.

In Namibia, the company has been awarded a turnkey job of 350 KV double circuit bipolar HVDC transmission line of 306 km from Bagani to Zambezi for Nampower. This project has a completion period of 22 months.

At 12:26 pm, KEC shares down 2.32 per cent at Rs 770 on BSE.
