Kale Consultants up 2.5% on sale of logistics business

Kale Consultants Ltd were up by 2.51%, after the company announced the board’s approval to the sale of the Logistics Business to KLSPL.

MUMBAI: Shares of Kale Consultants Ltd were up by 2.51 per cent at Rs 141.15 on the National Stock Exchange, after the company announced the board’s approval to the sale of the Logistics Business to Kale Logistics Solutions Pvt Ltd (KLSPL), as a going concern, on a slump sale basis.

This comprises sale, assignment and transfer of fixed and current assets, current liabilities, existing contracts, intellectual property rights and employees of the Logistics Business of the company.

Kale Logistics Solutions is a company owned by Narendra Kale, Vipul Jain and Sumeet Nadkar. The Logistics Business contributed Rs. 37.60 million to the revenues of Kale Consultants (around 2.27% of the company's consolidated revenues) and had a negative contribution of Rs. 62.69 million at EBITDA level for FY10.

On NSE, the stock touched a high of Rs 146 versus a low of Rs 137.70. Total traded quantity was 1,68,463 shares and turnover Rs 2.40 crore.
