Jupiter Wagons shares in focus on signing Rs 600 cr contract with Ambuja Cements, ACC

The shares of Jupiter Wagons remained in focus on Wednesday, February 12 after announcing that it has won an order from Adani Group companies Ambuja Cements and ACC Ltd for a consideration of Rs 600 crore.

The order pertains to the manufacturing and supply of BCFCM Rakes Wagon with BVCM Wagon.

“We are pleased to inform that the Jupiter Wagons Limited has received Letter of Acceptance (LOA) from Ambuja Cements Limited and ACC Limited which are group Company of Adani Cement for manufacture and supply of BCFCM RAKES WAGON WITH BVCM WAGON vide LOA No. Adani Cement (ACL/ACC)/ BCFCM/25-26/02 dated 10th February, 2025 for a order value of Rs. 600 crores approximately,” the company said in an exchange filing.

Further, the company had also informed that its subsidiary Jupiter Electric Mobility (JEM) has launched its app, JEM Saathi, in partnership with Bengaluru Headquartered Pulse Energy to strengthen its EV ecosystem for the growth of its eLCV business.

Through this app, JEM aims to create a single app for its customers providing vehicle service communications, local business discovery as well as a strong Charging Infrastructure.

“We are pleased to announce that Jupiter Electric Mobility Private Limited (“JEM”), Subsidiary of Jupiter Wagons Limited strengthens its EV ecosystem for the growth of its eLCV business. JEM launches its app, JEM Saathi through which JEM creates a single app for its customers providing vehicle service communications, local business discovery as well as a strong Charging Infrastructure. In partnership with Bengaluru Headquartered Pulse Energy, JEM launches JEM Saathi with 1300+ Fast Chargers on JEM Saathi readily available for its customers,” Jupiter Wagons informed via another regulatory filing.

The shares of Jupiter Wagons closed 4.7% lower on the BSE on Wednesday at Rs 318.05.
