Jubilant Lifesciences surges as USFDA gives final nod for epilepsy drug

NEW DELHI: Shares of Jubilant Lifesciences ended higher by 4.08 per cent in trade on Monday after the firm received final approval for its generic drug from USFDA.

The US drug regulator gave the final approval to Jubilant’s generic Levetiracetam injection, used for treatment of epilepsy, in the American market.

Reacting to the development, the scrip gained 5.96 per cent to hit a high of Rs 374 on the BSE. The stock has fallen 12 per cent in the year so far.
