JSPL plunges as special court slaps criminal charges against Naveen Jindal

NEW DELHI: Shares of Jindal Steel and Power Limited ended higher by 6.56 per cent in trade on Thursday after special court slapped charges of criminal conspiracy against Naveen Jindal in the coal scam case.

Naveen Jindal is co-accused for criminal conspiracy in the Amarkonda Murgadangal coal block allocation in Jharkhand.

Reacting to the development, the scrip slipped 8.56 per cent to Rs 68.35 on the BSE.
