JP Morgan appoints Vis Raghavan CEO of EMEA business
JP Morgan has appointed Vis Raghavan as chief executive of its Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) business. Raghavan, currently deputy CEO of JPMorgan's EMEA operations, will oversee the coordination of the bank's EMEA business in asset management and private banking as well as the corporate and investment bank.

He will also handle additional role of CEO of JP Morgan Securities, plc. This comes a few months after JPMorgan's corporate and investment bank head Daniel Pinto took on the role of joint global head of technology and operations across the JPMorgan Chase group, following the departure of chief operating officer Matt Zames.

Raghavan joined JPMorgan from Lehmann Brothers in 2000 and has since held a variety of positions at the firm. He will report to Pinto and also to Mary Erdoes, the CEO of asset management.
