JP Associates, Bhandari Hosiery among top gainers on BSE
The Nifty 50 index was trading 34.90 points up at 11,748.10.

NEW DELHI: The domestic equity benchmark BSE Sensex was trading 159.62 points up at 39,216.27 on account of buying in frontline bluechip counters.
Shares of Gujarat Hy-Spin (up 16.93 per cent) , Tayo Rolls (up 16.24 per cent) , Bhandari Hosiery (up 14.29 per cent) , Sunshield Chemicals (up 13.78 per cent) , TRF (up 13.71 per cent) , Bharat Road Network (up 13.59 per cent) , Kamdhenu (up 12.79 per cent) , N K Industries (up 12.50 per cent) , Shree Karthik (up 12.02 per cent) and Tejnaksh Healthcare (up 10.32 per cent) were among the top performers.
Jaiprakash Associates (up 7.36 per cent) and General Insurance Corporation (up 5.79 per cent) too were trading 5-7 per cent higher at around the same time.

Among the 50 components in the Nifty index, 32 shares were trading in the green, while 18 were in the red.
