Jindal Saw allots 2.63 lakh shares via FCCBs

Jindal Saw Ltd on Monday said it will issue 2.63 lakh equity shares worth Rs 17.76 crore via FCCBs.

MUMBAI: Jindal Saw Ltd on Monday said it will issue 2.63 lakh equity shares worth Rs 17.76 crore upon conversion of Foreign Currency Convertible Bonds (FCCB).

The company would issue a total of 2,63,191 shares at the pre-determined price of Rs 675 per share to three of its FCCB holders, Jindal Saw said in a communique to the Bombay Stock Exchange.

It would allot 29, 243 shares to Mauritius-based Swiss Finance Corp Ltd, 1,16,974 shares to Morgan Stanley Mauritius Co Ltd and 1,16,974 shares to Morgan Stanley and Co International Plc.

Jindal Saw Ltd manufactures submerged arc welded pipes, spiral pipes and bends, which are used in the energy sector for transportation of oil and gas.

Shares of the company were trading at Rs 10,010.80, down 2.20 per cent on the BSE.
