Jet shares jump 13% on Naresh Goyal's exit
An ET Now exclusive suggested that Jet’s lenders' consortium may invoke the entire 51 per cent stake of Naresh Goyal in the airline.

The company said in a BSE filing that Naresh Goyal, his wife Anita Goyal and one nominee of Etihad have quit Jet Airways board and Naresh Goyal will cease to be the chairman of the company.
As per the company's regulatory filing, lenders will infuse nearly Rs 1,500 crore into the company via debt instrument against security of its assets.
As per the sources, Jet lenders are to give names of new appointees later and government's approval will follow lenders' recommendations.
Now, lenders' stake in the company stands at 50.5 per cent and Naresh Goyal's stake was reduced to 25.5 per cent from 51 per cent.
The Abu Dhabi carrier Etihad's stake in the company gets reduced to 12 per cent from 24 per cent.
The shares of the company closed 12.69 per cent up at Rs 254.50 on BSE.
