J&K Bank, Suzlon Energy among top gainers on BSE
Among the 50 components in the Nifty index, 25 shares were trading in the green, while 25 were in the red.

NEW DELHI: The domestic equity benchmark BSE Sensex was trading 78.06 points up at 39,272.55 on account of buying in frontline bluechip counters.
Shares of Gujarat Hy-Spin (up 17 per cent), STEL Holdings (up 16.44 per cent), Ponni Sugars (up 13.05 per cent), Vama Industries (up 12.68 per cent), Pressman Advertising (up 11.96 per cent), Jindal Photo (up 11.66 per cent), Motor General Finance (up 11.56 per cent), Joindre Capital (up 11.15 per cent), Hotel Leela (up 11.03 per cent), Eimco Elecon (up 10.70 per cent), Suzlon Energy (up 10.33 per cent) and Jammu & Kashmir Bank (up 6.28 per cent) were among the top performers.
The Nifty 50 index was trading 23.90 points up at 11,748.
