Jaiprakash Associates net profit at Rs 302 cr; stock down

MUMBAI: Jaiprakash Associates reported net profit of Rs 301.95 crores for the quarter ended March 31, 2011 as compared to Rs 243.97 crores a year ago. Total income increased to Rs 4074.62 crores from Rs 3358.38 crores a year ago.

The stock was at Rs 86.05, down 1.71 per cent on the BSE. It touched a high of Rs 88.40 and low of Rs 85.60 in trade so far.
