NEW DELHI: Shares of IRB Infrastructure Developers surged 9 per cent on Monday after the company bagged the biggest-ever national highway order in terms of cost from the Ministry of Road and Transport.

The cost of the project involving construction, operation and maintenance of Zozila tunnel, including approaches to NH1 in J&K, stands at Rs 10,000 crore. Reacting to the development, the scrip gained 9.98 per cent to hit a high of Rs 269.30.
