Insync Capital partners buys 2.95 lakh shares of Datamatics

MUMBAI: Insync Capital Partners, which has Rakesh Jhunjhunwala and his wife Rekha Jhunjhunwala among its directors, bought 2.95 lakh shares of Datamatics Global Services at an average price of Rs 102 a share on Tuesday. Datamatics Global is a provider of consulting, IT and business process outsourcing promoted by Lalit Kanodia. Shares of Datamatics gained 3.43% to Rs 113.20 on Tuesday.

Insync Capital Partners is a firm incorporated in 2009 by Amitabh Sonthalia and Utpal Sheth, CEO of Rare Enterprises, which is owned by Jhunjhunwala.

Insync has Rakesh and Rekha Jhunjhunwala as directors. Some of the other investments of Insync Capital include Kirloskar Brothers, Adlabs Entertainment and Tourism Finance Corporation.Insync bought 4 lakh shares of Kirloskar Brothers in April this year at Rs 115.44 per share.


Later in September it acquired 3.5 lakh shares of Adlabs Entertainment. In October, it purchased 4.25 lakh shares of Tourism Finance Corporation.
