BENGALURU: Infosys has filed for arbitration proceedings over unpaid invoices against its US customer Whittle Management. Infosys alleges that Whittle Management did not pay for certain software services rendered by the former upon receiving a work order. Whittle, Infosys said, failed to respond to a notice and demand for arbitration as of filing the petition on May 14.

Infosys and the Delaware-incorporated Whittle Management entered into a master service agreement (MSA) on January 7, 2019, which required both the parties to resolve disputes arising under the MSA by arbitration.

The petition showed that the amount in controversy exceeds $7.5 million, exclusive of interest and costs.
