Infotech Ent expects marginal or flat growth

MUMBAI: Infotech Enterprises Ltd Chairman & Managing Director, Mr. B.V.R. Mohan Reddy interacted with newspaper correspondents on Thursday, where he clarified that some customers of Satyam Computer Services had approached the company to enquire about service areas where the company is strong.
On the upcoming quarter, Reddy said he expected a marginal or flat growth due to the global meltdown. However, the company has a strong pipeline of projects.
The company is also on the look out for possible acquisitions to complement its core strengths, in the areas of auto engineering and product engineering segments in Europe, he said.
Further, the company has set up an M&A council and Prof. J. Ramachandran of IIM, Bangalore is advising the board.
On Friday, Infotech Enterprises shares were down 1.85 per cent at Rs 84.90 on the NSE.
