Infosys Q1 results propel CNX IT index; NIIT Tech, Wipro TechM top gainers
HCL Tech, Wipro and Tech Mahindra gained 2.47 per cent, 1.66 per cent and 1.44 per cent, respectively. TCS ended lower.

NEW DELHI: CNX IT index rose 3.45 per cent to settle at 11,655.45 on Tuesday. The gains in the index were led primarily by Infosys, which rose over 11 per cent for the day after the company reported results that beat analysts' expectations.
The country's second largest software exporter also raised its full-year revenue guidance, driven mainly by s strong spending from top clients.
Infosys rose 11.50 per cent to settle at Rs 1,116.35 on the NSE . HCL Tech, Wipro and Tech Mahindra gained 2.47 per cent, 1.66 per cent and 1.44 per cent, respectively.
Among non-index IT stocks, Sasken rose 5.34 per cent to Rs 239.65. Datamatics settled 3.60 per cent higher. Tata Elxsi, Zensar Tech, MphasiS and Cyient rose between 0.80 per cent and 2.30 per cent.
On the flip side, index stocks such as MindTree, TCS and OFSS fell between 0.70 per cent and 1.50 per cent.
