Indraprastha Gas Ltd. shares down 1.91% as Nifty gains

NEW DELHI: Shares of Indraprastha Gas Ltd. traded 1.91 per cent down in Wednesday's trade at 02:15PM (IST). Around 40,331 shares changed hands on the counter.

The scrip opened at Rs 421.9 and touched an intraday high and low of Rs 421.9 and Rs 408.95, respectively, in the session so far. The stock of Indraprastha Gas Ltd. quoted a 52-week high of Rs 534.4 and a 52-week low of Rs 284.55.

Key Financials
The company reported consolidated net sales of Rs 638.57 crore for the quarter ended 30-Jun-2020, down 58.87 per cent from previous quarter's Rs 1552.53 crore and down 59.48 per cent from the year-ago quarter's Rs 1576.12 crore.

The net profit for latest quarter stood at Rs 35.18 crore, down 85.64 per cent from the corresponding quarter last year.

Shareholding pattern
As of 30-Jun-2020, DIIs held 8.01 per cent stake in the company, while foreign institutional investors held 22.29 per cent and the promoters 45.0 per cent.
