Indraprastha Gas Ltd. shares decline 3.18% as Sensex climbs

Shares of the Indraprastha Gas Ltd. traded at Rs 488.65 on BSE at 02:24PM (IST) on Friday, down 3.18 per cent from previous close.

The scrip quoted a 52-week low price of Rs 284.55 and a high of Rs 534.4.

Earlier, the stock saw a gap up opening in the morning.


A total of 99,238 lakh shares changed hands on the counter till 02:24PM (IST).

The stock of Indraprastha Gas Ltd. commands a market value of Rs 34233.54 crore.

The stock traded at a price-to-earning (P/E) multiple of 28.86, while the price-to-book value ratio stood at 7.93. Return on equity (ROE) was at 19.51 per cent, according to exchange data.

In the BSE500 pack, 425 stocks traded in the green, while 75 stocks were in the red.

Promoters held 45.0 per cent in the Indraprastha Gas Ltd. as of 31-Mar-2020 while foreign portfolio investors and domestic institutional investors owned 22.77 per cent and 7.52 per cent, respectively.
