Indraprastha Gas Ltd. shares decline 2.68% as Sensex climbs

Shares of the Indraprastha Gas Ltd. traded at Rs 431.6 on BSE at 01:53PM (IST) on Thursday, down 2.68 per cent from previous close.

The scrip quoted a 52-week low price of Rs 284.55 and a high of Rs 534.4.

Earlier, shares of the company saw a gap up opening in the morning.


A total of 126,851 lakh shares changed hands on the counter till 01:53PM (IST).

The stock of Indraprastha Gas Ltd. commands a market value of Rs 30124.53 crore.

The stock traded at a price-to-earning (P/E) multiple of 24.12, while the price-to-book value ratio stood at 5.62. Return on equity (ROE) was at 23.31 per cent, according to exchange data.

In the BSE500 pack, 293 stocks traded in the green, while 207 stocks were in the red.

Promoters held 45.0 per cent in the Indraprastha Gas Ltd. as of 31-Mar-2020 while foreign and domestic institutional investors owned 22.77 per cent and 7.52 per cent, respectively.
