INDO-MIM shares hit 10% upper circuit as Q1 net profit rises 32% YoY

Indo-MIM shares surged after it reported a 31.6% year-on-year rise in Q1FY27 net profit.
The company reported a 31.6% year-on-year rise in consolidated net profit to Rs 240.12 crore in the June quarter, compared with Rs 182.41 crore in the year-ago period.
Consolidated revenue from operations rose 9.4% to Rs 1,218.74 crore for the quarter, up from Rs 1,114.10 crore recorded in the same period last year. Total income for the quarter under review reached Rs 1,221.95 crore, up from Rs 1,127.17 crore year-on-year.
On a standalone basis, the company reported a net profit of Rs 223.17 crore on revenue from operations of Rs 1,003.11 crore. The standalone profit was up 23.5% from Rs 180.74 crore recorded in the quarter ended June 30, 2025.
Strong operational efficiency helped keep total expenses in check at Rs 896.66 crore on a consolidated basis, compared to Rs 881.72 crore in the year-ago period. Profit before tax for the period stood at Rs 325.29 crore, registering a growth of nearly 32.5% over Rs 245.45 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous year.
The company's basic earnings per share (EPS) for the quarter improved to Rs 4.96 on a consolidated basis and Rs 4.61 on a standalone basis, compared to Rs 3.78 and Rs 3.75 respectively in the June quarter of FY26.
The board also highlighted dividend payouts made during the period under review. INDO-MIM paid an aggregate dividend of Rs 6.80 per equity share during the quarter, comprising a first interim dividend of Rs 3.50 per share and a second interim dividend of Rs 3.30 per share. This resulted in a total cash outflow of approximately Rs 329.23 crore.
In other key decisions, the company’s board approved the appointment of M/s SNM & Associates as Secretarial Auditors for a five-year term starting from financial year 2026-27 to 2030-31, subject to shareholder approval at the upcoming Annual General Meeting.
INDO-MIM operates in manufacturing engineering components, including metal injection moulding, investment casting, precision machining, and 3D printing. The company recently made its debut on the stock exchanges on July 30, 2026, following its initial public offering of equity shares at an issue price of Rs 485 per share.
