Indiabulls Housing raises rates by 20 bps

MUMBAI: Top-rated Indiabulls Housing Finance raised interest rates by 20 basis points in home loans following a quarter percentage point rise in the policy rates by the RBI last week. The revised rate of interest on new home loans for women applicants/co-applicants will now start at 8.7 per cent for loans up-to Rs 35 lakh. It is 8.8 per cent onwards for loans above Rs 35 lakh. The interest rates would be five basis points higher for non-women applicants. The increase in rate will be applicable for both new and existing customers of the company, it has stated in a release.
