A private equity fund of Infrastructure Development Finance Company (IDFC) has invested Rs 35 crore in Doshion, a leading water management company.

MUMBAI: A private equity fund of Infrastructure Development Finance Company (IDFC) has invested Rs 35 crore in Doshion, a leading water management company. Doshion has a pan-India presence and has executed projects in over 40 countries across the world.

It has technical collaborations with various international companies and has the ability to execute a variety of projects in water purification, waste water and effluent treatment.

The money raised from IDFC Private Equity will be used to fuel further growth, including acquiring niche companies in the areas of design and fabrication of water treatment plants and for bidding for upcoming BOT and BOOT projects in the water segment.
