ICIx encourages PSUs to take to cloud

AHMEDABAD: India Compute Interchange ( ICIx), a JV between Universal Compute Exchange, Chicago and SCAD Consultants, India has launched a financial marketplace for government organisations, state-owned and private companies in India to trade compute resources.

“ICIx will enable organisations to buy and sell compute processing power as a utility. It will bring enterprises, government ministries and cloud service providers together to engage in price discovery, trade execution and the physical delivery of compute resources providing operational agility and capital and market efficiencies,” says ICIx chairman Dr Bharat Swami.
