ICICI Securities names Ashwani Khare as Executive Vice President, Client Banking

MUMBAI: ICICI Securities named Ashwani Khare as executive vice president - client banking becoming the fifth senior hire in the corporate finance team in the last one year.

Prior to joining ICICI Securities, Khare was partner for corporate finance in KPMG, where he was responsible for developing the industrial and logistics sector to meet the mergers and acquisitions and funding needs of the clients in the sector.

“The coming few years will see several sectors scaling in India and heightened activity on the M&A front," said Ajay Saraf, Executive Director, ICICI Securities. "With his vast experience, Ashwani will provide the necessary expertise that can help our clients in identifying opportunities to grow their business."

Khare is B.Tech from Birla Institute of Technology and an MBA from SP Jain Institute of Management.
