Mumbai: ICICI Prudential Life Insurance Company's assets under management rose to touch ₹2.5 lakh crore as new products were lapped up by customers.
"This is an outcome of offering customer-centric products, growth in new business premium, industry-leading persistency ratios, superior customer service and delivering superior risk-adjusted returns," the company said in a statement.
The company commenced operations in December 2000 and had an AUM of ₹100 crore. It crossed ₹1 lakh crore in 14 years and doubled to ₹2 lakh crore in six years. The next ₹50,000 crore came in less than two years. ICICI Prudential Life continues to be the private sector leader with a market share of 15.7% in terms of new business sum assured as on September 30.
