ICICI Lombard shares recover, climb 2%

Warburg Pincus sold 3.15 per cent stake in the insurance company.

NEW DELHI: Shares of ICICI Lombard General Insurance Company recovered on Wednesday, climbing 2 per cent in the morning session, a day after they plunged over 6 per cent.

Shares of the general insurance company declined 6.40 per cent to Rs 1,102.10 on Tuesday after American private equity firm Warburg Pincus sold 3.15 per cent stake in the insurance company.

Warburg Pincus firm Red Bloom Investment sold a total of 1.43 crore shares at a price of Rs 1,100.2 per share.


The stock opened at Rs 1103.65 today and touched intraday high and low at Rs 1,124.90 and Rs 1,092.75, respectively.

The scrip closed 1.37 per cent up at Rs 1,117.25 on BSE.
