HPCL, Inox Leisure among top gainers on BSE
Among the 50 components in the Nifty index, 33 shares were trading in the green, while 17 were in the red.

NEW DELHI: The domestic equity benchmark BSE Sensex was trading 242.13 points up at 39,053.52 on account of buying in frontline bluechip counters.
Shares of Vama Industries (up 18.63 per cent) , Vaswani Industries (up 16.83 per cent), Shree Karthik (up 16.50 per cent), Dhruv Consultancy Services (up 16.28 per cent), Competent Auto (up 15.96 per cent), National Fittings (up 15.95 per cent), TIL (up 15.68 per cent), Sarla Performance Fibre (up 14.16 per cent), United Drilling (up 12.15 per cent), Amrutanjan Health Care (up 11.95 per cent), Inox Leisure (up 8.58 per cent) and Hindustan Petroleum Corporation (up 5.29 per cent) were among the top performers.
The Nifty 50 index was trading 66.85 points up at 11,723.90.
