Hotel Leela jumps 5% on Rs 3,950 crore assets sale
NEW DELHI: Shares of Hotel Leelaventure jumped 5 per cent in Tuesday's session, a day after the company said that Brookfield has bought its assets for Rs 3,950 crore.

Canadian alternative asset management company Brookfield has bought the assets of Hotel Leelaventure comprising key hotel properties in Delhi, Bangalore, Udaipur and Chennai for Rs 3,950 crore.

In a BSE filing on Monday, the company said, "Company’s hotel business together with all the assets and liabilities of hotels located in Bangalore, Chennai, Delhi and Udaipur were being acquired by Brookfield on a slump sale basis."


The scrip closed at Rs 11.63, up 4.96 per cent on BSE.
