HOCL, Jai Corp up as Navi Mumbai airport gets eco nod

The Environment Ministry has given nod to the proposed airport at Navi Mumbai subject to 32 conditions.

MUMBAI: The Environment Ministry has given nod to the proposed airport at Navi Mumbai subject to 32 conditions. According to the aviation ministry the new airport will have two parallel runways.

Shares of Hindustan Organic Chemicals, Jai Corporation and Reliance Industrial Infra reacted positively on speculations that they hold land banks in the proposed area and may benefit from it.

Shares of Hindustan Organic Chemicals surged 13.79 per cent higher to Rs 57.75 on the BSE. It touched a high of Rs 59.30 and low of Rs 50.85 in trade so far.

Jai Corporation advanced 9.66 per cent to Rs 246.95 on the BSE. It touched a high of Rs 255 and low of Rs 225 in trade so far.

Reliance Industrial Infrastructure moved to Rs 805, up 5.73 per cent or Rs 43.60. The stock touched a high of Rs 823.65 and low of Rs 755 intraday.
