Shares of Alfa Laval spurted 14.4% to Rs 2,710.85 after its parent Alfa Laval Corp AB raised the price to buy back the remaining public shareholding to Rs 2,850 apiece. Earlier, the Swedish parent had set a floor price of Rs 2,045 to delist the firm.
Wockhardt
Wockhardt shares rose 3% to Rs 304.10 after company secured final approval from the United States Food & Drug Administration to marketing fluticasone, used in treatment of allergic rhinitis. Wockhardt shares have risen 18% in the past four trading sessions.
