Hindustan Unilever only Sensex gainer, up 2.5%

MUMBAI: Satyam Computer and Hindustan Unilever were the only two Sensex stocks that were in the positive territory in early trade on Thursday. However, Satyam couldn���t hold against the weak market breadth and fell to Rs 269.35, down 1.14 per cent.

Earlier, the stock was up 3.6 per cent at Rs 282.25. Analysts said the IT company has the lowest exposure to the BFSI segment. It was 21.4 per cent of June 2008 quarter revenues of Rs 2,620 crore.

Hindustan Unilever continued to hold ground, up 2.51 per cent at Rs 237 on BSE. The stock touched a high of Rs 238.55.
