Hindustan Sanitaryware up 3% on expansion plan

Hindustan Sanitaryware & Industries has proposed to expand its container glass division for manufacturing glass bottles and jars at a new location in central Andhra Pradesh with a capacity of around 425 tonne per day.

MUMBAI: Hindustan Sanitaryware & Industries has proposed to expand its container glass division for manufacturing glass bottles and jars at a new location in central Andhra Pradesh with a capacity of around 425 tonne per day.

The project will cost Rs 210 crore and is expected to be completed between January-March 2009.

At 10:10 am, Hindustan Sanitaryware shares were up 2.95 per cent at Rs 80.30 on BSE, with volume traded at 1,025 against two-week average of 21,147 shares.
