Hindustan Media Ventures lists at 7% premium
Shares of Hindustan Ventures listed at Rs 177.95, up 7.19 per cent against issue price of Rs 166 on the National Stock Exchange.
At 9:54 am, the scrip was at Rs 187.65, up Rs 21.65 or 13.04 per cent on volume of 1.03 crore shares. It touched a high of Rs 188.70 and low of Rs 174.15 in trade so far.
On the BSE, the stock was at Rs 187.60, up Rs 21.60 or 13.01 per cent. It hit a high of Rs 188.65 and low of Rs 170 in early trade. Around 63.57 lakh shares were traded on the counter.
The company has raised funds to set up new publishing units, upgrade existing plant and machinery and prepayment of loan.
HMVL prints and publishes ‘Hindustan’ – the 3rd largest read newspaper in India. Hindustan has strong presence in 6 out of the 14 Hindi newspaper markets, with leadership in Bihar & Jharkhand markets.
