Hindujas raise stake in Jaihind Projects

Hinduja group company Jaihind Projects today said its promoters have increased their shareholding in the company marginally by 0.36 per cent for Rs 69.85 lakh.

MUMBAI: Hinduja group company Jaihind Projects today said its promoters have increased their shareholding in the company marginally by 0.36 per cent for Rs 69.85 lakh.

The acquisition was done by Prakash Hinduja, Nita Hinduja and Rajkumari Hinduja, who are part of the promoter group company, on February 15 through open offer, the company said in a filing to the BSE.

Post acquisition of the shares, total stake of the three promotors in the company has increased to 20.40 per cent, it added.

Jaihind Projects is an engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) company, having presence in various segments, including oil and gas pipeline construction, city gas distribution and civil infrastructure.

As on December 31, 2011, the total promoter stake in the company was 57.37 per cent, the BSE data showed.

Shares of the company closed today at Rs 119.50 apiece on the BSE, up 0.46 per cent from the previous close.
